Toasted Pecans

Toasted Pecans

How would you like to have a tasty and versatile topping in the freezer–ready at a moment’s notice? These toasted pecans are easy and fast! They add panache to salads, ice cream, really anything you can imagine!

Speaking of “toppings,” today I got the “top” on my head, my hair, colored! I always feel it is a new day when I see the vibrancy of the reds and blonds in my hair! Thank you, Hattie, at Ultimate Impressions Salon and Spa!

I may have red, not orange, hair, but you need red to make orange so I thought “Orange Colored Sky” would be a great tie in. I love this song! I’ve sung it with big bands and small combos. It’s just such a fun, effervescent tune. One of my favorite versions is sung by Nat King Cole. His styling is a bit more sedate than mine which is what allows jazz musicians to be uniquely inspired.
