Fry Pan Steamed Broccoli

How would you like to learn about a quick way to turn frozen broccoli into steamed broccoli? Usually when I steam vegetables, I start with fresh. But there are times when I want steamed vegetables and the fresh vegetables are just a little out of my price price range, depending on the season.

So steam frying the frozen vegetables helps them get that “fresh vegetable” taste!

Fry Pan Steamed Broccoli


  • 8 ounces frozen broccoli, thawed
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon butter


  1. In a small frying pan, place broccoli, water, and butter.
  2. Simmer over medium heat just until tender.


This is a fast alternative to fresh broccoli.
